IN COLLABORATION WITH MIT MEDIA LAB!
Since 2022 HeroBridge, Stepping Forward LA and MIT Media Lab have been on a first of its kind collaboration to develop artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve our affective behavior capabilities. (eg. predictably better wellbeing and outcomes!) We’ve launched our collaboration via HeroBridge’s flagship community Stepping Forward for former foster youth. This collaboration included the funding of more incredible interns - many of whom earned their first paycheck developing their own digital web3 community - and have the pride of saying they work with the finest tech media lab in the world.

Our Beginnings: Tech for At-Risk Communities
Launched on Google Play and the Apple Store as an app during COVID, our Los Angeles pilot partnered with foster mentor CBO Stepping Forward and over the next two years proved Tech for Good can deliver on its promise of genuine positive impact. For many former foster, Hero Bridge’s Stepping Forward app was their only lifeline to a community of support and compassion. With 24/7 curated media, moderated groups, learning tracks, mentor toolkits and a metaverse of geo-coordinated engagement to resources - no one in our community is ever alone again -ever.
Sustainable
Our overarching goal will always be to create tools that produce better outcomes by supporting communities of all kinds through mentorship and connectivity to resources and each other. Our sustainability plan is based on corporate social responsibility (CSR) metrics that spin a flywheel of better outcomes through effective mentorship.
Companies will find HeroBridge an ecosystem that produces efficiency, loyalty and purpose for their organizations. For nonprofits, through the HeroBridge Foundation, our goal will always be to provide our technology to nonprofit organizations for free - forever.
